The Student Nutrition Council (SNC) is a student organization at Arizona State University that advocates nutrition programs, services, and education. The SNC enhances its members by connecting them with career development opportunities, local professionals, and tools for academic success.  


• Prepare students for future professional opportunities in nutrition and health-related professional fields.
• Provide service to the university and community.
• Participate in campus events to educate and inform the campus community regarding health and nutrition issues.
• Promote membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and local dietetic associations.
• Provide opportunities for social interaction within the university community.


Membership Requirements

Membership in the SNC is open to all students without regard to race, color, creed, religion, or ASU major. Members must

• Be enrolled for at least one semester hour of university credit at ASU.
• Participate in or arrange at least one SNC event (for about 5 hours of community or university service per semester), then tell us how it went!
